Ingleborough Marathon & Clapham Circuit Fundraising Event – Raise Money for Mountain Rescue Team – walk it or run it

New sponsors for the CRO Inlgeborough Challenge!

We are really pleased to tell you that we have support from three local companies for this year’s great event, which takes place on Saturday the 20th May. The sponsorship of these companies allows us to continue to provide this great day, and maximises the benefit for our team from the money that you raise.

Our sponsors this year are:

Concorde Technology Group

JR Hopper & Co.

JWK Solicitors of Lancaster

2017 – Different Name, Same Great Challenge!

The eagle eyed amongst you will notice that we have changed the name of the event for 2017 – it’s now The Cave Rescue Organisation Ingleborough Challenge!

Hopefully, this will help raise the profile of the event, and make it more meaningful for those looking for suitable events in this area.

Looking forward to seeing everyone again on Saturday the 20th May 2017, as well as lots of new entrants.

Summing up the 2015 Challenge from Phil and your times

Hi Everyone, Final Times – LINK>>>   Just a quick email to thank you all for supporting our Challenge yesterday and I hope you had an enjoyable day.   The weather worked in our favour for once and hopefully all your pains and aches will start to be a distant memory.   I promised I would send an email just to give you an update of how much money the event had raised for the team. I won’t have a final figure yet because there are still a lot of you collecting your sponsorship money, so it will be a number of weeks yet before I get a final total. However, as the 2015 Challenge Fund stands now, we have just broken the £4,000 barrier and have collected £4,017. I will send you a final figure when I have it but I just wanted to let you know. This is a fantastic amount and on behalf of the CRO Team, I would like to say a big thank you for your support.   I have already had a number of emails saying how much they had enjoy the event and I can tell you, the team also had a great time. Some of you may know that part way through the event we had a serious callout to attend, which thankfully ended well. From an operational point of view it allowed us to test our backup plan should an incident occur whilst the event was in place and we now know it works.   Next years event will be on 22nd May 2016 and I will let you know when the website is open to accept entrants.   I will keep you up to date with the odd email to let you know how the Challenge Fund is going. If those who are still collecting sponsorship can pay it into our JustGiving fund at that would be ideal, or drop me an email if you have any questions.   Thanks once again   Very best wishes   Phil Nuttall
